Bio

Yasmin Moanis is an Assistant Professor of Architecture who has 15 years of mixed experience between professional and academic careers. Yasmin has received a number of certificates and acknowledgements throughout her long career. Her research is focused on urban spaces, landscapes, and human behavior in urban open spaces. Having studied, graduated, and received a master's degree in architecture and environmental design from the AASTMT; she later received her PhD in architecture from Alexandria University. She enjoys teamwork and has strong communication abilities. Despite her cluttered workstations and missy desks, she is pretty good when it comes to planning and organizing. She is a discoverer who likes to question everything and tries to approach things with rationality and logic. Needless to say, she loves to discover new cultures and travel. Yasmin believes that there is no problem that cannot be solved through design interventions and employing innovative techniques and strategies. She loves to learn from others as she believes that the world is an open book that holds different treasure chests full of wisdom and solutions.
